The really short answer is "nope." I prefer shooting outdoors because it lends much more variety than a backdrop does. I do have the ability to do studio work at local places that I rent out though, I just don't shoot studio work enough to get a permanent place.
My senior portrait sessions run about 3 hours and can include outfit changes and location changes.
If it rains we reschedule. Rain, Acts of God, things out of our control get a reschedule.
Shooting with me is a partnership. I give you a ton of information for you to prepare for your senior session, not only that, before we even shoot, I ask you a handful of questions to learn about your style, your likes and dislikes. We meet at my office weeks beforehand to try on outfits at my studio and plan your hair and makeup. I have hair and makeup professionals that I refer however you are not required to use them. On the day of the shoot, since we have planned and prepared, it runs super smoothly and we shoot until sunset. About 4-6 weeks later you come back to my office to see your photos in a Reveal & Ordering Session where, you guessed it- I show you your photos and we place your order. Orders take up to 2 weeks but can take less time to come in.
Booking is easy! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the form on my homepage to reach me. ..or just click the text here.
Ideally, you should be booking your senior photos for the Summer before your Senior Year. That doesn't mean wait until summer to pick your date, I mean research to find a photographer you like and reach out to them in your JUNIOR year to book your summer date because we get swamped and for someone like me who limits the number of sessions I take on, you might not be able to book your first choice photographer if you wait too long. I know that sometimes that doesn't happen so the rule of thumb is to consider processing time; it is wise to book 3 months before you'd need announcements/yearbook submissions at the latest.
After your photo sessions, it can take 4-6 weeks to complete your gallery.
There are 3 ways to get digitals. 1.) You can purchase them a la carte, 2.) social media sized digitals come complimentary with each print product you purchase, 3.) all digitals from your gallery come on a Luxe USB drive with my top collection.
I encourage you to bring at least one parent and a friend.
I get this a lot. This is year another reason why it's important to go pro. I have spent years working on my craft and have learned the most flattering poses and I will take care of everything- you don't know what to do with your hands, don't worry because I do! You're in great hands with me, I assure you!
