1. Start a senior session Pinterest board and include ideas for makeup, hair inspiration, poses you like, locations you love, outfits you want to wear, etc. Visual examples will really help your photographer see the vision you have for your session.
2. Share your Pinterest board & discuss your ideas with your photographer well in advance. You want to give them at least a few weeks to prep for any needed rentals, acquire any permits, clothing buys, etc to prepare for your session.
3. Finally, you’ll want to plan with your photog your final outline for your session. Time, locations, order of the session, etc will help your ideas come to life with ease. The last thing you want to do is show up to a session with a ton of props and ideas without having told your photographer about them. Designing your ideal session take time and effort to prepare.
